Ready Set recognises Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders peoples as the Traditional Owners and Original Custodians of the land on which we live and work. We deeply respect, value and honour the history, cultures and languages of the world’s oldest continuing living culture. We pay our respects to their Elders, past, present and emerging.
In keeping with our unwavering commitment to our core values of compassion, inclusion and hope and to fostering positive change, Ready Set supports the referendum to enshrine in the Constitution the First Nations Voice to Parliament.
We acknowledge that perspectives on the Voice may vary and believe it is essential to engage respectfully to progress reconciliation. We encourage everyone to educate themselves about the Referendum to make an informed decision.
Ready Set offers individualised services to meet the unique needs of each jobseeker, delivered by our trained volunteers. We welcome new people to join our volunteer team, whether you have a few hours a week or a day or two a month to spare.

Supporting women to find confidence and economic security.
We’re delighted to highlight a very special program Ready Set is proud to collaborate on, called WISE WOMEN.
WISE WOMEN came into fruition during Covid-19, with the aim of supporting women doing it extra tough, to find long term, sustainable employment.
With economic security the end goal, women receive reskilling and upskilling to help with career change, are linked to established community groups, support and networks and each is connected to a dedicated female case worker, who works closely with them to understand the individual pathway each needs. Wise believe the safe environment WISE Women provides, allows customers to open up about their fears and challenges, without being intimidated.
Having started in Melbourne the program has recently launched in the Northern Territory and Ready Set is proud to be working with Wise to support women to ensure that no woman who needs help slips through the cracks.
To find out more visit their website.
Watch Amy from Wise Employment talk about the program here.
We are again accepting clothing donations every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, between 9.30am and 3pm.
Clothing can be dropped off to our delivery entrance at 149 Dorcas Street, South Melbourne.
